What it does

Coding, system design and behavioral: Three interview modes to match the round you're in, plus reference lookup.
Listens only when you start it: Microphone and system audio are captured only after you choose to listen, behind macOS permission prompts.
Transcript and live suggestions: The conversation is transcribed as it happens, and suggestions stream in from what was just said.
Answers from a screenshot: Capture a question on your screen, such as a coding prompt, and get an answer to it.
Your provider, your keys: Your API keys and provider sign-ins stay on your Mac. They are never sent to Imba.

Screen capture: the app requests macOS capture protection for its window. It isn't universal, and tools that record through ScreenCaptureKit may still capture it.

How the trial and renewal work

Your first 7 days are free. Stripe Checkout asks for a card up front.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you're charged $59.99 (plus any applicable tax) for the first month.
It then renews automatically every month at $59.99 until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, linked from your billing page. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing; cancel later and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
AI usage isn't included: the app runs on your own AI provider, which bills you separately.

Bring your own AI provider

Imba Interview Tool doesn't include any AI usage. You connect a provider you already have: a ChatGPT or Codex subscription, a Claude subscription, or an API key.
