1. The agreement
By using Imba Jobs — the website, the public API and the MCP endpoint — you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. “We” means the operator of Imba Jobs; “you” means anyone using it, with or without an account.
2. What the service is
Imba Jobs aggregates job postings from employers’ public applicant-tracking boards and other public sources, classifies them, flags what each posting says about visa sponsorship, and links to the employer’s own application page. It also offers a crowdsourced OPT timeline tracker, written guides, listings of hackathons and open-source projects, an endpoint through which an AI agent you operate can read your data and record what it did, and Imba Interview Tool, a separate paid desktop app for interview help and practice (see section 8). We are not an employer, a recruiter, a staffing agency, an immigration adviser or a law firm.
3. What the data is — and is not
- Postings come from third parties and may be outdated, incomplete, or removed by the employer at any time. The authoritative version is on the employer’s site.
- Sponsorship flags are generated automatically from the posting text. We show the sentence that produced each flag so you can judge it. Flags can be wrong, and “unconfirmed” means the posting is silent, not that the employer will or will not sponsor. Do not make decisions that affect your status on a flag alone.
- OPT timelines are submitted by visitors, are unverified, and are not USCIS data. Statistics computed from them describe the submissions, not the population.
- Guides and fit checks are general information and automated estimates, not legal, immigration, financial or career advice. The rules they describe change; each guide carries the date it was last reviewed. Consult your DSO or a licensed attorney about your own situation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit OPT timelines that are false, duplicated, or contain personal information about anyone;
- attempt to identify, contact or harass anyone whose submission appears on the tracker;
- access the service in ways that degrade it for others — for example by scraping at a rate that burdens it when a public API exists, or by evading rate limits;
- use another person’s account, key or anonymous id, or share keys that identify you;
- upload content you do not have the right to upload, or anything malicious;
- use the service to violate an employer’s or platform’s terms, or any law.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload or submit. For your resume, profile, queue and similar private data, you give us only the permission needed to store and process it to provide the service to you. For OPT timelines, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish the submitted fields (without your identifier) on the site and through the API, including in aggregate statistics, until you delete the submission. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.
6. The agent feature
The MCP endpoint lets software you run read your profile, queue, job data and apply packs, and record events. We do not run that software, do not submit applications, and do not control what your agent does on other sites. You are responsible for every application and statement your agent submits, for complying with the terms of the platforms it uses, for any instructions an employer gives about the use of AI, and for keeping your keys secret and revoking them when you are done. Apply packs and fit checks are drafts and estimates for you to review, not statements we make on your behalf.
7. The public API
The public JSON API is provided for personal, research and non-abusive use. Respect the cache headers, identify your client, and attribute Imba Jobs when you republish data. We may rate-limit, change or withdraw the API; we will try to give notice of breaking changes.
8. Imba Interview Tool subscriptions
Imba Interview Tool is a macOS desktop app for interview help and practice, sold as a monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. This section applies from the moment you start a trial.
- Price. $59.99/month in US dollars, plus any applicable tax, after a 7-day free trial.
- Trial and renewal. A card is required to start the trial. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel:
- Your first 7 days are free. Stripe Checkout asks for a card up front.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you're charged $59.99 (plus any applicable tax) for the first month.
- It then renews automatically every month at $59.99 until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, linked from your billing page. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing; cancel later and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
- AI usage isn't included: the app runs on your own AI provider, which bills you separately.
- Cancellation. Cancel in the Stripe customer portal, which you open from your billing page. Deleting your Imba Jobs account also cancels the subscription, immediately.
- Your account and desktop apps. A subscription belongs to your account, not to a device. You approve each desktop app from your account in the browser, up to five at a time, and can sign any of them out on your billing page.
- Your AI provider. The app runs on the AI and speech-to-text providers you connect (for example a ChatGPT, Codex or Claude subscription, or an API key). Their terms and charges apply to that use, and they bill you directly; we don’t control, resell or refund them.
- Price changes. We’ll tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
- Your use of the app. You are responsible for how you use the app, including following the law and any rules that apply to you. The app requests macOS screen-capture protection for its window; that protection isn’t universal, and tools that record through ScreenCaptureKit may still capture it. The app doesn’t guarantee an interview or an offer.
- Billing questions. Contact us and include the email address you subscribed with.
9. Accounts and anonymous use
You can use the service without an account; data is then tied to a cookie on your device, and clearing it makes that data unreachable. If you sign in, keep your sign-in method secure. We may suspend or close accounts and revoke keys that violate these terms, and we may remove any content that does.
10. Our content
The site’s design, code, guides and original text are ours or our licensors’. You may link to any page and quote reasonable excerpts of the guides with attribution. Job postings belong to the employers who wrote them; we display them to help you find and evaluate roles.
11. Third-party sites
Apply links, source links in guides and sign-in providers take you to sites we do not control and whose terms and privacy practices are their own.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any posting is open, that any employer sponsors, that any timeline is representative, that any fit check is right, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost income, or immigration consequences, arising from your use of the service or reliance on anything in it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months and one hundred US dollars.
14. Your responsibility for your agent and content
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from content you submit, from your breach of these terms, or from what software you operate does with data obtained through the service.
15. Changes and termination
We may change the service or these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and noted on the site; continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the service at any time and delete your data from your profile page.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws that apply where Imba Jobs’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away protections you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms: no contact address has been published for this deployment yet; you can still see and delete your data on your profile page.
