Job Title: Mid DevOps Engineer

Mode: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week on-site

We at Coforge are hiring Mid DevOps Engineer (#006fu00000QeELXAA3-5) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute SCM migrations from Bitbucket to GitHub, including repository, workflow, and pipeline transformation.

  • Operate and maintain Jenkins on Kubernetes, including upgrades, scaling, plugin management, troubleshooting, and production support.

  • Implement GitHub Actions workflows, GitHub Advanced Security, and Python-based automation while administering Artifactory and related repository services.

  • Maintain the availability and security of the DevOps services portfolio, remediate vulnerabilities, manage changes, and provide technical escalation support to the L1 DevOps support team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant DevOps experience.

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

  • Proficiency in GitHub Actions and CI/CD processes.

  • Experience with SCM migrations, particularly from Bitbucket to GitHub.

  • Experience operating Jenkins in production environments.

  • Knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.

  • Familiarity with Linux administration.

  • Experience working within Agile environments and sprint-based delivery.

  • Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher), both spoken and written, for daily collaboration with US-based teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Familiarity with security scanning and vulnerability remediation processes.

  • CKA/CKAD, GitHub Actions, or GitHub Advanced Security certifications.
